Thank you to everyone who turned up for our regular litter pick on Saturday. We had so many people that we ran out of litter pickers! Hence, with the help of Suzanne from the CRT, some of us did some gardening along the towpath by Tallow Hill car park, clearing back the vegetation in order to restore the towpath to its full width. It was amazing to discover how much had been lost beneath the encroaching ivy and other plants. We only managed to cover a small area, so this will be an ongoing task.
We are planning to continue with our regular litter pick at the end of December, despite it being close to Christmas. A chance to walk off some of the over-eating we usually indulge in! See you then I hope.
