Churches will be ringing their bells along the Worcester & Birmingham Canal to celebrate 200 years since its opening.

Ringing takes place at:

• St. Nicholas, Kings Norton 10am – 11am.
• St. Laurence, Alvechurch 12 – 12:30pm.
• St. Mary’s, Hanbury 2:30pm – 3:30pm.
• Worcester Cathedral 4:30pm – 5:30pm.

More special celebrations are taking place at Diglis Basin from 1pm onwards, including live music and a special cake.
